Jasmine Dragon Pearls

Camellia sinensis

Prized as one of China's most celebrated scented teas, these hand-rolled green tea pearls are traditionally sipped in the evening as a calming, fragrant ritual. Each pearl unfurls in hot water to release a heady, sweet jasmine perfume layered over a smooth, buttery green tea base. The finish is clean and floral with a soft honeyed lingering note and no bitterness when brewed gently.

Steep one teaspoon of pearls per cup at 160°F / 71°C for 3–4 minutes, watching each pearl slowly unfurl. The lower temperature preserves the tea's natural sweetness, and the same pearls reward two or three further steeps, each a touch longer than the last.
