Peony White Needle

Camellia sinensis

A classic Fuding white tea prized for gentle everyday sipping — one of the least processed teas made, simply withered and dried. Downy silver buds and soft young leaves brew a pale gold cup of honeydew melon, fresh hay, and white flowers, with a soft, round sweetness. The finish is clean and cooling, with none of the briskness of greener teas.

Steep a heaping teaspoon per cup at 160°F / 71°C for 3–4 minutes — the gentle heat preserves the tea's natural sweetness and keeps bitterness away. The leaf is forgiving and rewards a second, slightly longer steep.
